Maple frame with a black walnut core. All wood was sustainably harvested by my family from our 100 acres of pristine wilderness in Northern Michigan. One of the original four Framework violins to come out of my shop following months of experimentation and perfecting the build.
This beautiful handmade violin is priced significantly lower than the others as it is the very first framework violin to come out of my shop, essentially the prototype.  It uses an LR Baggs bridge/pickup as opposed to the Starfish, which is a fantastic product, but less expensive than the Starfish with a single transducer encased in the wood. I use only the highest quality ebony fingerboard, tuning pegs, tailpiece, and onboard volume control. Ships with a restored classic violin case.
